The EPH (English, Political Science and History) program at Pyari Devi Mahavidyalya integrates multi-disciplinary approaches to the Humanities and Social Sciences.
B.A. or Bachelor of Arts or B.A. (general) is an undergraduate course. It can be defined as a broad subdivision of culture composed of many expressive disciplines. The course can be pursued either as a full-time graduate course or part time graduate course i.e. through correspondence or distance education depending upon one’s choice.
The B.Com Programme provides a strong foundation level Understanding of the functioning of business organizations, commercial transactions and of various specialized operations such as accounting, finance, and marketing by offering a comprehensive curriculum.
It is a three-year degree program spread over six semesters affiliated to Lucknow University. The degree is designed to provide the student with a wide range of business skills more than just business management. The students are exposed to general business principles, quantitative analysis, and organizational behaviour.
The Faculty offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course with an intake of 100 students. The B.ED program shall be of a duration of two academic years, which can be complete in a maximum of three years from date of admission to the programme.
The Bachelor of Education program, generally known as B.ED, is a professional course that prepares teacher for upper primary and middle level (class VI-VIII), secondary level (classes IX -X) and senior secondary level classes (XI-XII).
Master of Arts (Education) is aimed at developing professionals for effective participation in educational actions in different areas of education.
The Programme comprises five compulsory courses, one course on educational research and four courses in one of the specialised areas e.g. higher education, educational technology, educational management, etc. Apart from the theoretical courses, a student is required to submit a research report in the form of a dissertation. The Programme would provide both theoretical and practical inputs.
